The first Nothing smartphone will debut next month

Last month, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, announced his first smartphone, although he did not reveal any details about it. Now we learn that its premiere may take place in April.

The first Nothing device were headphones, now it’s the smartphone’s turn

The first mentions of Carla Peia’s smartphone appeared just last month, when the founder of Nothing himself signaled its creation on Twitter in a quite creative way. He did this with posts that were answered both by the official Android and Qualcomm account, so we know that the device will run under Android 12 and will be powered by SoC Snapdragon. Unfortunately, we do not know anything more, although the latest reports already mention the upcoming premiere.

TechCrunch reports that Carl Pei showed the prototype of the Nothing smartphone to a group of industry directors at the MWC, including the head of Qualcomm. The design of this device is supposed to refer to the headphones that the company released last year. More precisely, they are supposed to share “transparent elements” with them. How exactly will it look like? We have no idea, but if the smartphone is actually to debut next month, more information should appear in the coming weeks.
