The foldable Huawei Mate X3 may debut later this month

It looks like Huawei is getting ready to launch the next, third generation of its foldable smartphone. The latest reports indicate that Huawei Mate X3 will be presented later this month.

In recent months, there are more and more foldable smartphones on the market. Some manufacturers provide new generations of their devices, while others are just taking their first steps. Either way, competition is increasing. Huawei, which is one of the first companies to release its “folding box”, is getting ready to present its third generation. This model may debut in April.

Huawei Mate X3 is getting closer

There has been more talk about this model for some time, and thanks to leaks and the appearance in the TEMAA certification base, we got to know some of its specifications. So it is known that it is to be powered by the proprietary Kirin 9000 processor, which most likely will not provide support for the 5G network. Of course, the smartphone is to be equipped with two screens. Both will have an OLED matrix with 90 Hz refresh. The external one is to have a diagonal of 6.5 inches, and the internal – 8 inches.

There is also talk of a 4500 mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging, as well as a quadruple configuration on the back, with a 50 Mpix main unit. The selfie camera on the front is to have 16 Mpix. Huawei Mate X3 is to work under the control of HarmonyOS 2.0.1.
