VIENNA, 11 Sep – PRIME. Consultations have begun on the creation of a nuclear and physical security “security zone” around the ZNPP, the IAEA reports.
The authorities of Energodar spoke about the conditions for launching units of the Zaporizhzhya NPP
The agency informed that on Saturday the reserve power transmission line leading to the Zaporizhzhya NPP was restored, which allowed the station operator to stop the last operating ZNPP reactor on Sunday morning.
“DG @RafaelMGrossi (IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi – ed.) welcomes the news about the restoration of electricity supply, but remains seriously concerned about the situation at #ZNPP amid continued shelling. An urgent need to create a nuclear and physical security buffer zone around ZNPP, consultations have begun”, — reported on Twitter by the IAEA.
