Earlier it was reported that EU energy ministers at an extraordinary meeting on Friday will discuss additional measures that can be applied in the EU due to high energy prices.

“It is impossible that this reduction in the price of electricity is made only on the basis of contributions from the state budgets of the countries,” she said upon arrival at a meeting of EU energy ministers in Brussels.

According to her, European energy ministers should find a solution to this problem.

With the current rise in prices, all the necessary conditions should be ensured for energy operators across Europe to continue to buy electricity at reasonable prices, Ribera added.
