We have known for a long time that the cameras in the LG G7 are of good quality. However, the results in DxOMark are surprising – the smartphone fares better than the LG V30.
The smartphone scored 84 points in photos and 79 points in video, and its overall score is 83 points. This result is 1 point better than the LG V30 and puts it on a par with the Sony Xperia XZ Premium – Sony’s flagship model from 2017. In conclusions, we can see that the AI-assisted dual camera setup is not as good as you would expect from a high-end design. In low light conditions there aren’t many details and the autofocus itself needs some improvement.
You can find the full review at this link. The cameras have an impressive dynamic range and the photos and videos themselves are alive. However, the competition does it better.
