DxOMark has just published a review of the Apple iPhone Xr smartphone. It turns out that it does great in the tests.
The phone received 103 points for photos and 96 points for films. This gave a total score of 101, which is the best for a single camera design. The fact that there is no Pixel 3 / Pixel 3 XL in the database yet, but it is doubtful that they will beat the iPhone Xr. The smartphone is good at detecting edges in portrait mode. However, it does not have a telephoto lens. DxOMark also praises the smartphone for the exposure it has made in various lighting conditions, a wide dynamic range and the perfect balance between noise suppression and preserving details.
Problems relate to excessive blur gradient or luminance noise in indoor and poorly lit scenery. Nevertheless, among smartphones with one camera, it’s hard to find a better design.
