Confirmation of this was to be found in the Gigabyte advertisement itself, in which the manufacturer, next to the GeForce RTX 2070, placed the mentioned brother “Ti”, which was supposed to be a typo …

Let me just remind you that the matter is a promotion on the occasion of Halloween, as part of which you can win the AORUS T-shirt. One of the conditions was the purchase of a Gigabyte RTX 2070 graphics card … or the mentioned GeForce RTX 2070 Ti. I must admit that this is rather one of those quite large typos for a phrase with a dozen or so letters. Maybe someone in the Gigabyte marketing department actually hit the keyboard with his head and just so accidentally stucked information about the aforementioned 2070 Ti. This is what the producer himself says, so we can only believe it. As proof of this, he even disclosed a “plan” to release his products.

Of course, this is not surprising, because nobody believed that Nvidia would surprise us this year with the GeForce RTX 2070 Ti. This one is probably in the company’s plans, but rather in the more distant ones, because it is the lowest segment that should be in its crosshairs now. In other words, the 2070 Ti model will probably be created and will indeed be based on the previously described TU104 core, but after small operations …
