Onward Mobility, which is licensed to introduce BlackBerry brand phones, has revealed that it will launch new and innovative BlackBerry 5G phones in 2021. As we well know – it did not happen, but the hearing about the device has not been lost, because the update has just been released. In a blog post, Onward Mobility said 2021 was so difficult for the company that it couldn’t bring a new phone to market.
Various issues led to this decision, but that doesn’t mean plans for a new device have been put aside. Later this year, we are to get an “ultra-secure 5G smartphone for enterprises”. It will come with a keyboard for better productivity. Unfortunately, we did not receive more information, so the specification of the device is unknown.
