The BIOS for your graphics card (Video BIOS, v-BIOS to be exact) is a basic guide to how this should “work”. That is why it is so important for every model, and any interference with it may end badly. Especially when replacing BIOSes not between models from the same family, but between models from different families, the latter is just required to increase the mining performance of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.
The discovery of CryptoDonkeyMiner from YouTube comes down to replacing the BIOS of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards, necessarily from Dell or Alienware, with the BIOS present in the RTX 3090 OEM version from Dell. This replacement is definitely worthwhile, because from the original level of 60-70 MH / s, the performance can jump to over 110 MH / s.

Such a thing is possible due to the many similarities between the RTX 3090 and the RTX 3080 Ti, but the operation, which requires the NVFlash utility, still cannot be considered safe. Specific BIOSes are specially designed to guarantee stability and security in terms of the correct level of clock speed and voltage.
