The Videocardz service has managed to find information about the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB graphics card. Thanks to this, we got to know both its specification and the ETH mining potential. It came only a day after the information spread about the postponement of the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB release from December 17 and the market debut from January 11 to an unspecified February 2022 date.

Moving on to what is most important, the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB will not only reach for the more impressive GDDR6X memory deck (10 vs 12 GB), it will also be characterized by a wider, 384-bit memory bus, and thus more impressive bandwidth (760 GB / s vs 912 GB / s). Thanks to this, the card will not only perform better at high resolutions, but also … dig better, because at a speed not 43 MH / s, but 52 MH / s.

On the GPU side, the GA102-220 will come into play, offering 256 CUDA cores more than the original, i.e. 8960 CUDA. Of course, this is associated with appropriate costs, because such increases on the deck side of the VRAM and the TDP graphics processor will increase from 320 to 350 watts.
