The Passenger application from iTaxi is now available in the new version

The Passenger application in version 5.0 is now available for iTaxi customers. Let’s see what new features have been introduced.

Ms Karolina Złotkowska and Ms Anna Orłowska from iTaxi were responsible for the conversion of the application. Thanks to their approach to contemporary problems and customer needs, it was possible to create a new version of the Passenger Application that should appeal to users.

Passenger application – what new features have been introduced?

The changes were based on the opinions of private and business customers who helped find minor bugs, as well as functionalities that could be improved. That is why the new version of the application requires 20% less “clicks” to complete the basic order than before, which simply means easier and faster use. After logging in for the first time, we can add favorite locations, which streamlines the entire process of ordering a ride. The extra buttons have also been removed, and the number of additional options on the main ordering screen has been reduced. They distracted the user from completing the order. In the new version, a drop-down list of available tariff types was created, and the less frequently used options were moved to a separate section in the upper right corner of the screen. The functions available so far have become intuitive, without excessive complexity.

The main screen with the map, which the user accesses immediately after logging in, has changed significantly. Instead of a multitude of pins symbolizing available cars, he sees aesthetic car graphics. It can immediately go to the indication of the destination address. It is not attacked by numerous messages in the form of pop-ups, which it has to close, but only sees one, collapsible information banner. In version 5.0 of the Passenger Application on Android, users can see new screens on the entire path from the moment of registration / logging in to clicking the “Order a ride” button.

Great emphasis was also placed on compatibility with different sizes and versions of Android smartphones. A new design has been added and the application has been enriched with some interesting animations.
