The Polish startup RoboCamp received financial support from Alfabeat

The start-up RoboCamp from Gdańsk mainly deals with the creation of textbooks on robotics and programming available on the web, although it also does not avoid organizing webinars or supplying equipment to school studios. The field in which he is doing well, however, is so forward-looking that the success of our countrymen became interested in (also Polish) Alfabeat.

Let’s start with the fact that RoboCamp enables teachers – without specialist preparation – to teach robotics and programming. The textbooks for startups in their offer are based on the most modern pedagogical techniques, with particular emphasis on primary and secondary schools. RoboCamp services are even used by museums and libraries operating in the education sector. Ultimately, 50,000 students a year follow their courses each year. The goal of RoboCamp is one thing – to interest the youngest and those slightly older to learn the secrets of programming and robotics. No wonder that the Alfabeat fund became interested in them, depositing EUR 467 thousand into the company’s account.

With this amount, RoboCamp intends to create an e-learning platform for mobile devices, implement new functionalities, expand the course portfolio and try to conquer the German, French and Spanish market. for the German, French and Spanish markets. As the founder of RoboCamp, Wojciech Syrocki, writes:

We have established cooperation with Alfabeat because the fund focuses on expansion to foreign markets. We talked to a dozen funds from Poland and abroad, but we wanted to find one that would share our ambitions, and at the same time understand our product and business model, providing not only financing, but also substantive support.
