During a routine flight, the F-35C crashed on January 24 this year while landing aboard the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier. According to the latest information, the US Navy has established cooperation with a private company and has caught the wreckage of the F-35C Lightning II from the South China Sea. This was done using the DP2 DSCV rescue ship from Ultra Deep Subsea, but above all the 2.5-ton CURV 21 underwater drone, which was responsible for attaching the rope to the wreckage with which the fighter was pulled from the seabed.

Now the wreckage is mainly transported on board a rescue ship to the port and finally the plant, to be dealt with by engineers.
