Glaciers are melting, new routes are opening up, and with new territory to control, world powers must have the right equipment to rule it. Companies know this, as exemplified by Polaris, which developed the MRZR Alpha conversion kit for arctic conditions.
MRZR Alpha for arctic conditions
The MRZR Alpha is a light all-terrain vehicle used by the United States Special Operations Command. Polaris won a contract for the supply of this equipment in 2020 for $ 109 million, and is likely to collect another million for their conversion kits. Currently, all American military services are actually interested in increasing their operational capabilities in the Arctic.

No wonder that the set presented this month at the Modern Day Marine fair attracted such attention. This mainly includes tracks in place of the wheels, but is also responsible for the modernization of the cabin to arctic conditions.
The Arctic kit is currently under government validation testing, and at the beginning of next year, the command will decide how many copies to buy.
