This is Cryptide. You have not seen such strange 3D-printed shoes before

A certain Stephen Henrich, a German designer, boasted about his latest work, which on the one hand catches the eye, and on the other is an example of how great the Sintratec technology is. This is how the Cryptide sneakers were created, one of those really weird 3D-printed shoes.

3D printed shoes. Here is Cryptide from a German designer, which, unfortunately, will remain only in the show sphere, “what the Sintratec technology can do”

Futuristic, bizarre, innovative and, above all, eye-catching. Fully 3D printed, the Cryptide sneakers are primarily designed to showcase Sintratec’s S2 3D printing system as well as the benefits of TPE’s rubberized elastomeric material.

This combination (material and technology) makes thinner structures very flexible, while thicker ones can absorb much more energy before bending. Therefore, the top of the shoe is ultra-thin and perforated for breathability, while the sole is more structured. Moreover, it was designed specifically to cope with the expected forces generated during walking and running, which was done, among others, by by extracting all five toes on the sole.

Unfortunately, although turning Cryptide into reality would be quite simple, because the design requires only the addition of some form of attaching the shoe to the foot, and it could be custom-made after the client’s feet have been scanned, these unique shoes will most likely remain a Sintratec exhibit.
