This is the first gaming monitor with a brilliant screen

Eve, is a startup that develops technological products, and plans to take a step forward in the field of gaming monitors. The company presented this Wednesday, a version with a glossy screen of its Spectrum Evea monitor launched last year.

According to businessthe new Spectrum Eve Glossy should offer higher image quality compared to the standard Matte that is featured on most screens on the market. At first, the glossy version should be available for 4K 144hz Spectrum and QHD 280Hz Spectrum models.

The end result was achieved through Eve’s interaction with LG Display to make additional changes to the screens’ polarizing film.

According to Eve, the absence of brilliant gaming monitors on the market is due to the additional amount of R&D and factory recalibration required for production. As already mentioned, changes need to be made to the polarizing film on the screens and the glossy coating can only be applied at the screen factory, hence the association with LG.

The polarizer is a filter that controls light waves and makes the content of the screen visible. According to Eve, LG needs to recalibrate its now fully automated LCD monitor assembly line, as well as make changes to the certification process, adjust color performance, and perform durability tests.

Contrast enhancements and color enhancement, sharpness enhancement and, in particular, black colors.

With its brilliant monitor version, Eve promises improvements in various aspects of image quality. In the ad, the brand cites contrast and color enhancement, improving sharpness and, in particular, black colors. Also, the monitor should display sharper text, and depending on the environment and lighting, even reflections may improve.

There is not much information yet on the price or when it will be available to buy. Eve promises to update this information to the public soon.
