We could run out of Ryzen mics for Raptoreum mining

If we didn’t have enough with graphics cards and SSDs, now we could run out of Ryzen mics because of Raptoreum mining.

It seems like yesterday, but a year has passed since the new NVIDIA 3000 series and AMD Radeon 6000 series graphics were released, and from day one speculation, mining and shortages have hit the market hard.

In addition, the cryptocurrency boom began to rise like foam without end, something that seriously hurts the rest of the market. But if you thought things couldn’t get any worse, we’re sorry to tell you that we could run out of Ryzen mics because of Raptoreum mining.

A new crypto currency called Raptoreum that is mined with Rzyen processors is now rapidly gaining popularity among miners. As far as is known, the Raptoreum mining it is most efficient on processors equipped with large L3 caches, such as the AMD Ryzen 9 3000 or 5000 series CPUs. Even the 3 year old Ryzen 9 3900X or 3900 is considered cost effective due to its large 64MB L3 cache.

As we can see in the following tables offered by bitcoinpress, they have shown that both CPUs are more efficient than even the newly released Intel Core i9-12900K CPU, which can offer around 3700 H / s, while Ryzen 9 3900 not X 4600 H / s before any optimization.

A more powerful 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X can deliver up to 5100 to 6800 H / s depending on configuration. But those CPUs aren’t exactly the most profitable options.

Raptoreum (RTM) developers have used a GhostRider mining algorithm mining method, which avoids ASIC mining, which is based on a combination of Cryptonite and x16r algorithms and intense randomization techniques that require a large L3 cache.

The return on investment in Raptoreum mining has been calculated by YouTuber Rabid Mining, who owns six Ryzen 9 3900x and two 3950x systems, at 284 days. The ROI will change depending on the situation in the crypto market, but to the recent increase in the value of RTM, the ROI has been even shorter.
