While last week Intel announced a slew of 10th Intel Core processors. Comet Lake-S generation, it seems that they will not all reach the market together, but will be launched in stages. The first to arrive will be those with unlocked multipliers, that is, those ending in "K" and "KF".
This means that initially we will see only six processors on the market: The Core i5-10600K, i7-10700K and i9-10900K, and their "KF" versions without integrated graphics. In this way, a minimum of US $ 237 will have to be disbursed to access a 10th Intel Core processor. Generation if we want them at the beginning, or wait a little longer for the arrival of the cheapest models.
It is certainly not a good strategy for Intel, considering that these processors are already late to compete against Ryzen 3000, and on top of that they are further delaying the economic models, making people continue to go for Ryzen. With the arrival of the new Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X this month, Intel should launch its Core i3s as soon as possible so as not to lose that market as well, and it is not. It will be interesting to see how this affects Intel's market share, which for now is below 50% and everything indicates that it will continue to drop.
