ADCASE, a case that guarantees you 100% protection of your phone

One thing scares every smartphone owner – an accidental fall, which does not always end well for the screen. Traditional and common cases, covers and covers do not always work or are impractical, which has been changed by the latest invention of a German student. Meet the ADCASE housing, which has a chance to become a trend over the next months.

The whole situation can be described as the traditional path to innovative equipment – “need is the mother of invention”. This was also the case with Philip Frenzel, a student at Aalen University in Germany, who shattered the screen of his new iPhone three years ago, which made him decide to buy a separate case. A case that completely did not satisfy him. Therefore, he decided to create his own project, ADCASE.

ADCASE is nothing but a hard cover for the back of a smartphone produced in a 3D printer that has some technology inside. We are talking about sensors detecting the moment of free fall, which sends a signal to the mechanism, which in turn ejects four double-sided springs on each corner of the phone in the blink of an eye. Initially, they were supposed to be replaced by an airbag or even foam, but these solutions turned out to be impractical.

Eventually, after a full 30 months of designing, Philip and his team decided to initialize the latest iPhone cases, starting with the “six”, and therefore decided to launch a campaign on Kickstarter. This one is due to start in July and its success is rather guaranteed. The mechanism not only works flawlessly, but also does not make ADCASE simply look bad. However, the issue of programming the sensors so that they do not panic in inappropriate situations, e.g. in your pocket, remains a controversial issue.
