Today Battlefield 2042 received a major update which fixed hundreds of problems and added at least one known one, which is giving Server issues to the point of preventing players from starting a game.
“We are aware that many of you are receiving an error message when trying to upload to a server, which then returns you to the main menu,” the company said.
“The inability to load persistence data is a connection problem on our part.”
“We are working on it, for now you can press Retry and try to join a server.”
This only highlights the stress of a study like DICE that has quickly released a patch to try to calm the spirits of the players but that it has ended up making these same players unable to start a game, which is even worse. To this problem is added another specific one for PC users:
“We have found that some PC gamers are not able to use horizontal mouse input after update # 3 went live.
Restore the default settings by deleting the “PROFSAVE” files in My Documents> Battlefield 2042> Settings to continue playing.
Please note this resets all game settings “
