AMD increases the price at which it sells the RX 6000 to assemblers by 10%

According to new information published in the forum “Board Channels”, where employees of various companies in the hardware industry participate, AMD would have increased the cost of its Radeon RX 6000 GPUs by 10%, generating an increase in the manufacturing cost of each graphics card, which is likely to be rolled out to users in a few weeks when newer, more expensive graphics cards hit the shelves.

The publication indicates that this increase comes from an increase in the cost of TSMC wafers, which obviously makes each RX 6000 GPU more expensive to manufacture, and therefore AMD is forced to sell them more expensively to manufacturers as well. The increases vary between U $ S 20 and U $ S 40 depending on the model, although surely the increases in the stores are even greater due to the percentage of extra profit that manufacturers and stores make.

This increase in the price of GPUs is added to the increase in other products such as memory or even the copper needed to manufacture PCBs, so that graphics cards will continue at exorbitant prices for a few more months. Most likely, the situation will only begin to normalize in 2023, so do not get excited about getting a cheap GPU soon.

What do you think about this new increase of the RX 6000 by AMD? When do you think this whole situation will normalize?
