AMD surprisingly shows the Radeon RX 6000 “Big Navi” with similar performance to the RTX 3080
At the launch event of the new AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Based on the new Zen 3 architecture, the company’s CE, Lisa Su, has shown what will be its new generation of AMD Radeon graphics cards. The Radeon RX 6000 Series based on the architecture RDNA2, including the most powerful model known as “Big Navi”.
We had already known some external details of the card, which, as we see again, is based on an eye-catching triple fan design with hints of LEDs on the case, leaving behind the turbine design of other models.
On October 28, AMD will show us more details on the launch of this new series of graphics, but today we have seen a small preview where the RX 6000 Series moved games like Borderlands 3 in 4K resolution with the maximum quality with a rate of images per second of 61 FPS.
BIG NAVI will be able to run 4K games in ultra at more than 60 FPS
Other games, also with resolution 4K 3840 x 2160 pixels in Ultra quality, like COD: Modern Warfare or the Gears of War 5, are executed on these cards, we suppose that in the most powerful model, with a frame rate of 88 FPS and 73 FPS respectively, a performance that would remain very close to a whole RTX 3080.
Be that as it may, we still do not know the final details of these graphics cards, so we will have to wait until the 28th of this month to see what AMD surprises us with.
