Ncore was created by the founder of the NUDEcnc company, who turned out to be a Pole, or more precisely, Arek Tobiszewski. Cooling itself belongs to a group of solutions that will certainly not be decided by Sunday players. Ncore is a CPU water block that comes in two versions. Ncore V1 is designed only for the LGA1151 socket and scalped chips, which IHS are replacing with the product mentioned. Yes, the water block is then in direct contact with the silicon core. In turn, the V1D set is a bit more extensive and versatile, because it offers a scalping machine that also acts as a traditional attachment for the factory IHS.
In short, Ncore seems to be a really interesting project whose cooling capacity (according to the creator’s statistics) is admirable. However, I have some doubts about the aforementioned scalping machine, which may turn out to be deadly for the latest processors. Of course, we are talking about the elements surrounding the core that can be easily destroyed with the movement that you can see below. However, the author is sure of his work and sent it for testing to well-known YouTube channels (incl. TechLipton and LinusTechTips). We can only keep our fingers crossed for the Kickstarter fundraiser, whose goal was set at £ 10,000.
