An Intel Arc graphics card is seen at a video game tournament in Texas

It’s been over a year since Intel revealed Arc as the official brand name for its next line of graphics cards. Ever since, gamers and hardware enthusiasts have eagerly awaited a sneak peek at Intel’s graphics solution.

With that said, this weekend Intel rewarded attendees of the Intel Extreme Master (IEM) gaming tournament by showcasing the brand new GPU Arc Alchemist.

La GPU Arc Special Edition on display at IEM gave attendees a glimpse of what the future holds for the Alchemist 700 Series. It is not specified if the card is the top model or the A770 or A780 intended to compete directly with Nvidia’s RTX 3070 and 3080.

We found these images via Twitter by Bryce_GfxDriverGuru, one of the official ambassadors of the Intel Arc community. The card is supposed to feature 32 Intel Xe cores, 16GB of DDR6 RAM, and five video outputs (four DisplayPort and one HDMI).

Let’s remember a little how everything comes with these cards, in 2021, the company announced that it would postpone desktop graphics cards until 2022. Last month it was further delayed, with the company saying that Covid in China and some software issues were to blame for all this.

The prices and availability of graphics cards from AMD and Intel have improved in recent weeks. Intel aims to compete with the current generation of hardware from the red and green team, with this the blues will certainly face an uphill battle.
