AIO kits are growing like hot cakes, and for all manufacturers on the market! Today it is at Cooler Master that we turn with the all new MasterLiquid ML240R RGB. As its name suggests, the beast is of course equipped with RGB LEDs, unlike some of its competitors they are present on the pump but also on the 2 fans delivered, the whole being configurable one by one, something that does not happen everyday.
The MasterLiquid ML240R RGB is offered at a price of around 120 €, which is far below what the competitors do (functionality level), especially with addressable LEDs. Let’s see what the beast gives!

Characteristics

The Cooler Master ML240R RGB on paper is a classic AIO kit. Indeed it is equipped with a 240 mm aluminum radiator for a total length of 27.7 cm, 11.96 cm in width and 2.7 cm in thickness, in other words like all the other 240 mm AIO kits on the market! All the new sockets are also compatible of course, from LGA 775 to 2066 at Intel and from AM2 to AM4 at AMD, which means that you shouldn’t have to worry about installing the ML240R RGB.
The MF120R ARGB fans supplied with the AIO kit are 12 cm models, rotating at a speed between 650 and 2000 RPM and given for a theoretical noise level between 6 and 30 dB. These sound data are completely theoretical and depend greatly on how the measurement was taken, knowing that a very quiet room at night has difficulty staying around 30 dB 😉
The big novelty of course is the possibility of customizing each LED one by one, whether on the pump or the fans, via a controller supplied as standard, which is very rarely found in competitors.

Unpacking and bundle

We find the usual Cooler Master paw on the box, with on the front a dark gray background color, a photo of the beast and of course the name of the model and the small mention of the integrated RGB controller. We should not forget the brand’s logo either with, in addition to the fans and the RGB pump visible, the small RGB logo in the corner, in case we did not understand.
At the back a listing of the highlights, in 9 different languages ​​please such as the presence of course of addressable RGB LEDs, silent operation, quick installation etc. There is also some interesting information on the dimensions at the back. both from the radiator but also from the pump, for those who are not sure.

Inside, of course, a very classic vision welcomes us, with all the components in their individual bags and everything installed in a cardboard mold, transport should not be a problem.

We can’t say that the bundle is not provided here! In addition to the manuals and classic fixing kits, there is the controller that will drive all the LEDs, the latter being accompanied by various and varied cables to connect it to the different elements. One thing is for sure, the ML240R RGB will add a significant number of cables to the tower, even if the ones controlling the RGB are very thin.
