The Alder Lake-M Intel processor first appeared in the SiSoftware database, which is unique in that it translates performance cores in favor of energy-saving ones.
According to the post, this Alder Lake chip will feature a ten-core configuration, offering an alleged 20 threads. However, this is most likely a software bug, because in fact only two of these 10 cores have Hyper-Threading (as P-Cores) and the other eight provide only one thread (as E-Cores). Ultimately, it should offer 12 threads.

As the test included the Intel Reference Validation platform, it is most likely an early version of the processor. This prototype achieved a boost frequency of up to 4.7 GHz, while the basic one was 806 MHz and supported LPDDR5 memory. It will be one of the most energy-efficient Intel Alder Lake generation processors for notebooks and ultrabooks.

Other details include 5MB second level cache and 12MB L3 cache. On the operational side, Alder Lake M LPDDR5 will be one of the first mobile platforms to use low-profile DDR5 memory.
