The unique AORUS Z690 Xtreme WaterForce motherboard from Gigabyte no longer holds many secrets for us. Not only because the Videocardz service obtained detailed photos of it, but also because this model was sold in one of the Australian stores.

Playing with assembling a computer allows you to both go crazy and save a bit on the budget. I hope that no one is saving on power supplies anymore and they do it more often when it comes to motherboards … as long as they do not pair the flagship CPU with the weakest motherboard model. Gigabyte, however, is preparing something that will make it a breeze to cope with even the extremely twisted 12th generation Core. At least it seems so, as you will have to spend up to PLN 10,000 for the AORUS Z690 Xtreme WaterForce.

Below you can have a look at the offer quoting the price of $ 2,999 Canadian dollars for the AORUS Z690 Xtreme WaterForce. In conversion, this gives about PLN 8,900, which, due to taxes and margins of stores in Poland, will certainly provide a price of over PLN 10,000. Of course, if this model goes on sale at all, because it just so happens that it is an extremely limited motherboard.

Its uniqueness comes down to the factory-installed liquid cooling block, which includes not only the processor, but also the power section. The design itself gives the impression of a masterpiece with complete enclosure, which did not fit only two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (in x8 configuration with both slots occupied) and single PCIe 3.0 x 16 slots. There are also four M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots under the heat sinks.

On the side of the power supply section, there is a 20 + 1 + 2 circuit that derives power from two 8-pin power connectors. Like the air-cooled variant, it is equipped with a special cover for the memory slots. While this may reduce airflow around the memory heatsinks, Gigabyte says the motherboard will still support overclocked DDR5 memory up to 6600 MT / s thanks to XML 3.0 profiles.
