Intel after launching its Arc GPU laptops says they are delayed until the end of the second quarter

It’s been a week since Intel released its Arc GPUs for laptops. Initially, only the lower performing Arc 3 series is officially available, with more powerful variants to be released after the middle of the year. But a week after launch, those Arc A350 and A370M laptops are nowhere to be found.

From what we see on social networks and other FORUMS, no one bought an Arc laptop. This means that the launch of Arc Mobile was sadly nothing more than an announcement. and despite promises, the company has not brought its GPUs to market as promised.

According to Intel support, Intel Arc laptops will be available for purchase at the end of the second quarter. This was posted in the last 24 hours, so far no Intel employee has removed or commented on it, but we think this might be a misunderstanding. It could refer to the entire Arc Mobile line being available or just the Arc 5/7 series. In any other case, this new information would be contrary to what Intel has said at the Arc event.

So where are the Intel Arc laptops?

It seems that the Acer Swift X laptops with Arc GPUs that were listed for pre-order even before the Arc launch, are still available for purchase, but the shipping date has been pushed back from May 25 to June 13.

Also, the people who bought the Samsung Book2 Pro with ARC GPU actually don’t have Arc GPU. In fact, on the Samsung forums they describe exactly this problem. The Book2 Pro was supposed to be the first to go on sale with Arc 3 GPUs, right after the event:
