Noctua Unveils NH-D12L Low Profile Dual Tower CPU Cooler

Noctua today introduced the new NH-D12L low-height, dual-tower CPU cooler. At just 145mm tall (13mm lower than Noctua’s regular 120mm models), it fits in many cases, as well as narrower tower cases previously limited to solutions with 92mm fans. At the same time, its dual-tower design with five heat pipes and its next-generation NF-A12x25r 120mm fan allow it to achieve a level of efficiency that surpasses many models with a height of 120mm.

The fan rotates at 450 and reaches up to 2000 RPM generating a maximum airflow of up to 102.1 m³/h with a static pressure of 2.34 mmH2O with a noise level of 22.6 dBA. It comes with anti-vibration rubber pads, and a lifespan of at least 150,000 hours of use with a 6-year warranty.

The information of the Noctua NH-D12L is completed with a complete dimensions of 125 x 113 x 145 mm high, a weight of 890 grams, it is compatible with processors Intel LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115X, LGA20XX, AMD AM5, AM4is accompanied by the Noctua NT-H1 thermal compound, and It goes on sale for $89.90, while the Noctua NF-A12x25r fan goes on sale for $29.90.

“Until now, all of our 120mm heatsinks were 158mm high, but recently more and more PC cases only support up to 150 or even 145mm; this is where the NH-D12L comes in”, explains Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua.

“Simply downgrading one of our existing models was not an option because a standard 120mm square fan would cause a lot of issues with heatsinks or motherboard shrouds. That is why we created this novel dual tower design and a round frame version of the NF-A12x25 fan that can be installed very low between the two towers, a winning combination that delivers impressive results for this height class.”
