Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition faster than GeForce RTX 3060 in five games

Intel spoke and released the first tests of Arc A750 Limited Edition, the dedicated video card based on ACM-G10 GPU that aims to fit into the mid / medium-high range of the market (in reference to current models). The GPU in question will debut later over the summerIntel has not released further information at this time.

Ryan Shrout, Senior Director Graphics and HPC Marketing (AXG Marketing) of the US company, chose a short video to show us the Arc A750 Limited Edition struggling with games: Based on the graph shown, the Arc A750 is capable of deliver up to 17% more performance than the GeForce RTX 3060 at 2560×1440 pixels, without ray tracing. In Borderlands 3 the Intel solution touches 76 fps and that of NVIDIA stops at 67 fps, while in F1 2021 the gap is greater, with 192 fps for the Alchemist GPU and 164 for the Ampere one.

Before drawing hasty conclusions you have to keep in mind the small amount of tested titles – F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands and Fortnite – and know that Intel has selected the games in which the card performs best. The small consolation is that we can now get an idea of the potential of this model in the “best case”. Another fact to take into account is that Intel is still struggling with driver optimization, an aspect that will take time to master properly.

“The results shown are from a small subset of the games that work very well with Intel Arc and the Alchemist architecture”, explains in fact Shrout. “I’m not stating that ALL GAMES will show these results, but it’s a vision of what Intel Arc Series A cards are capable of with the right software and engineering work.”

“I know you’re all eager to find out more! What about performance in other games? When will it be available? How much will it cost? What about features like XeSS and ray tracing? I promise we will share all this information (and more) soon and before i products are put up for sale, “Shrout said.

Intel did not share the technical specifications of the Arc A750, but according to the rumors leaked so far it should have 24 Xe-cores and 12GB of GDDR6 memory on 192-bit bus. The board also features two power connectors, one 8-pin and one 6-pin, which suggests a demand of over 225W.
