Intel has just fallen victim to an ill-considered marketing move, potentially starting another small scandal with China. What was it this time?
The community in China, and we are talking here not only about the public opinion, but also about the companies themselves, has proven more than once that it can fight for its own and annoy those producers who show “anti-Chinese” actions. It is hardly surprising that Intel, having felt the stick in an anthill, is trying to alleviate the situation, and it all started with an unclear blockade imposed on some suppliers.
According to Taiwan News, Intel recently informed its subcontractors that it will not accept deliveries made either in the Xinjiang region or by employees from there. The reason for this is probably American law. However, whatever the reason for this decision did, and when it became clear that China would not be let go of it, Intel apologized.

However, he did not change the blockade and only wanted to reassure Chinese citizens who called for a boycott of Intel products. As the company derives 26% of its global income from China, we are not surprised by the apologies.
