Its base clock goes up to 1.8GHz, but it jumps to 4.5GHz when needed. There is also an integrated UHD 620 graphics chip clocked at 1150 MHz on board. All this is closed in a package at 15W TDP. In turn, the Core i5-8265U is again a 4-core and 8-thread construction with a 2 MB truncated L3 memory deck compared to its predecessor. Its basic clock is 1.6 GHz, and the one in boost mode – 3.9 GHz, which is again a difference of 500 MHz (compared to the i5-8250U). The TDP value here is 15W, and the graphics display will be handled by the Intel UHD 620 chip clocked at 1.1 GHz.
