Laser projectors with 4K resolution

LG Electronics announced those about its new top-of-the-range projectors, the LG HU715Q and LG HU710Pfrom the LG CineBeam 4K series.

The LG HU715Q is the top of the range model, which is a laser projector capable of displaying an image of up to 120 inches at 4K resolution 3840 x 2160 pixels with a maximum brightness of 2.500 ANSI Lumens offering a useful life of 20,000 hours of use for the lamp. Its advantage is that at just 21.7 centimeters away from the wall it is already capable of offering a 100-inch image.

In the case of LG HU710Pwe are facing a hybrid design combining laser with LED. While maintaining resolution, maximum brightness drops to 2.000 ANSI Lumensand while it has the advantage of offering a screen size of up to 300 inches, although to offer a size of at least 100 inches it requires a minimum distance of 2.9 meters. Another big difference is that if this projector includes a dual speaker system with 5W of power each, its older brother boasts a dual 20W speaker.

Both have their own operating system WebOS to allow them to work autonomously, they are compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 / HomeKit, Screen Share, they have 3x HDMI ports + 2x USB 2.0, and we are talking about prices of $2,999 for the top of the range model and $2,499 for his younger brother.
