MatePad Pro, a tablet with all the DNA of the Huawei Mate series

Featuring a pure, minimalist design that’s designed to impress, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro combines a large screen with ultra-narrow bezels to achieve the highest tablet-to-body-to-tablet ratio in the world at 90%.

Powered by the in-house 7nm Kirin 990 processor, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro offers exceptional performance and battery life. When running EMUI10, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro supports Multi-Window, Multi-screen Collaboration, and HUAWEI APP Multiplier. It also supports HUAWEI M-Pencil and Smart Magnetic Keyboard, driving synergy with PC mode and new WPS features for maximum productivity.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro is the world’s first tablet with wireless reverse charging

But that’s not all, the entertainment experience is enriched with a set of hardware updates, including immersive audio and display capabilities in a sleek format. Furthermore, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro series is also the world’s first tablet to support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Simplicity and elegance

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro features a unique design that combines technology with style. It features the world’s highest body-to-screen ratio at 90%, with ultra-narrow 4.9mm bezels surrounding the 10.8-inch screen.

The micro-curved design adopted by the HUAWEI MatePad Pro guarantees a comfortable hold, while its magnesium alloy frame keeps the tablet light but durable. It uses a unibody design where the antennas are embedded in the center frame and back panel for a clean, minimalist look.

Sound by Harman Kardon

Inside the slim tablet are five stereo microphones and a large four-channel amplifier and four speakers. All four microphones are configured in-line and the fifth is located near the rear camera, allowing the tablet to pick up sound up to five meters away. Harman Kardon-tuned four-channel speakers offer an immersive audio experience.

Enhanced performance

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro not only stands out for its iconic look, but it also has an excellent chipset. This tablet offers up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of memory, and is equipped with the chipset. Kirin 990. The same processor that the Huawei P40 Pro occupies.

As the newest processor, the Kirin 990 features the 7nm processing technique, the most advanced in the industry offering good performance and energy efficiency. In terms of CPU, the Kirin 990 features an octa-core, three energy efficiency levels, and a main frequency of up to 2.86 GHz. While for the GPU, the Kirin 990 uses 16-core Mali-G76 GPU clusters, which offer better graphics processing performance and higher energy efficiency than its predecessor, which can effectively solve smoothing, warming and frame inconsistency problems for graphics intensive games and HD video playback.

From the NPU aspect, the Kirin 990 also uses the Da Vinci NPU architecture, once again leading the development of artificial intelligence on the device. Thanks to its large core + small core NPU design, Kirin 990 unlocks the true potential of artificial intelligence computing.

Battery for your whole day

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro also surprises users with its long-lasting battery. With a large capacity battery with high energy efficiency and EMUI energy saving algorithms, the tablet can play 1080P videos locally for approximately 12 hours, general Internet browsing for approximately 11.5 hours or reading email and document editing for approximately 11 hours (Data obtained from Huawei Laboratories).
