More changes on the OLX platform

From February 28, some changes will appear on the OLX platform. The most important of them concerns the new payment operator, but the website will also add new packages and categories.

What’s new on OLX?

OLX announced changes to the platform’s regulations, which will enter into force on February 28 (some later). There will be a lot of new packages for sellers, such as:

• Category Automotive – the possibility of purchasing a new package of 5,000 ads in the subcategories: Car parts, Motorcycle parts, Tires and Rims, Car audio equipment
• Water sports subcategory – possibility to buy a new package of 500 premium ads
• Agriculture category – the ability to purchase new packages of 200 ads in the subcategories: Agricultural products, Animal market, Market and Other agricultural.

On 02-03.03.2022 there will also be changes in the tree of the Work category:

• creation of a new category “Installation and service”;
• Removal of the “Transport, Forwarding” category. In its place, new categories will appear: “Driver” and “Deliverer, city courier”;
• removal of the “Logistics and purchasing” category. Its place will be replaced by a new category “Logistics, purchases, shipping”;
• creation of a new category “Lining and display of goods”;
• removing the “Hostess” and “Leaflet distribution” categories. In their place will be a new category “Hostess, handing out leaflets”.

The most important issue, however, concerns the new payment operator. It is planned to introduce a new payment operator in the near future. Users of OLX Shipment and OLX Payments will be able to use PayU payments, which will be a great convenience during the transaction.
