More details about the GeForce GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti

It seems that the GeForce GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti card is not a legend, but actually a product aimed at the market. This time, we learned a bit about the specifications of both of these models, which are expected to debut in the middle of next month.

This time the source of the leaks is Wccftech, which claims to have learned the details of both the GeForce GTX 1660 and the 1660 Ti. Let’s start with the weaker and probably cheaper GTX 1160. This one is to host 6 GB of older memory, because GDDR5 with 192 bus and clock speed of 4000 MHz. As for the TU116-300 core, we are talking about 1530 MHz of base frequency and 1785 MHz in boost mode. Its laminate, in turn, is marked with the number PG165.

It is much more interesting with the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. This model will be based on a laminate with RTX 2060 (code PG161), but with a different core, TU116-400. This one will be able to boast a basic 1500 MHz clock and 1770 MHz in boost mode. On the memory side, it is also much better, because we are talking again about 6 GB on a 192-bit bus, but already about GDDR6 chips with a speed of 6000 MHz. So much for confirmed information, the collection of which will be constantly expanded until the premiere.
