While we’re all waiting for new graphics cards this year, Nvidia quietly unveiled a new version of its 3GB GeForce GTX 1050.

We weren’t expecting a new addition to the Pascal family from Nvidia so late, but on paper the new GTX 1050 3GB looks surprisingly good. The new version of the graphics card is equipped with 768 CUDA cores with clock speeds of 1392 MHz, which are accelerated to 1518 MHz.

Not only is it better specs than the current Nvidia GTX 1050 (2GB), the new GPU has an equal number of CUDA cores and higher clock speeds over the Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti (4GB).

The only thing that seems like a downside to the new Nvidia graphics card is the narrow 96-bit memory interface, as all other GPU versions have a 128-bit memory interface.

Pricing and availability of the new graphics card have not been announced, but we expect the price to be slightly higher than the previous $ 149 for the Nvidia GTX 1050 (2GB).
