Fortunately, the wait is coming to an end.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a ton of rumors about the new Nvidia GTX 1180 Founder Edtition under the Turing architecture. And, although most of the information remains speculation, we have a pretty good idea of ​​the close graphics card.

We can see the GTX 1180 launch as early as July and it looks like it will be more powerful than the Titan Xp with Pascal. We certainly don’t know if this is true, but as Computex 2018 approaches, you can be sure that we will update this article with new information as it becomes available.

| NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1180: DATE EXIT

Tom’s Hardware reports that several unnamed sources have confirmed that the GTX 1180 Founder Edition will go on sale in July, with the next graphics cards arriving in August or September. If these reports are indeed correct, the release will be two years after the last generation of graphics cards – it’s about time.

There have also been some specific reports that Nvidia will ship GPU and video memory to its hardware partners on June 15th. This further confirms the release in August or September for third-party manufacturers, and also about a week after the completion of Computex 2018 – again hinting that we will see Nvidia graphics cards at the show.

This may get a little confusing, but we’ve already had some speculation about the pricing of the GTX 1180. With the current 10-series GPU segment, Nvidia has changed the way it sells its own graphics cards, renaming the latter the “Founder Edition”, providing its products with improved cooling and steam chamber with fan support, increasing the price tag in this process by $ 100 (6000 r).

This is the most exciting part of the article. In May, the specs of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1180 were revealed in the TechPowerUp GPU database, and the graphics card looks promising.

The next generation graphics card, according to the spec leak, is more powerful than the Nvidia Titan Xp, the most powerful consumer graphics card Nvidia has ever released.

Powered by a new 12nm process, the GTX 1180 is packed with 3584 CUDA cores, 224 TMUs (texture units), 16GB GDDR6 VRAM and 13 teraflops of FP32 performance.

Compared to the GTX 1080 (2016), which offered 2560 CUDA cores, 160 TMUs, 8GB GDDR5 VRAM and 8.7 teraflops of FP32 performance, this is a solid performance boost.

And we will not limit ourselves to the declared characteristics of the GTX 1180, as we recently saw a leak with the characteristics of the younger GTX 1170. As reported, the video card will receive 2688 CUDA cores, 168 TMUs, 8-16 GB GDDR6 VRAM and a performance (FP32) of 9.75 a step lower. teraflop.
