OnePlus Ace premiere. Ultra-fast charging and the new MediaTek chip on board

After numerous leaks and reports, OnePlus Ace has finally made its debut in China. The first model in the new series has many great features, one of which is ultra-fast charging, which few competitors can compete with.

According to reports, OnePlus has equipped Ace with the newest mid-range chip from MediaTek, the Dimensity 8100, but not in this basic version but the Max. We do not know exactly what the differences are from the regular Dimensity 8100, because only the improved capabilities of the AI ​​have been mentioned. the processor is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in memory. The smartphone works under Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.1 overlay.

The battery has a standard capacity of 4500 mAh, but the most important thing here is the supported charging. It is 150W SuperVOOC technology, thanks to which we can charge the smartphone up to 50% in just 5 minutes. Importantly, OnePlus has implemented battery protection measures here, regulating heat and ensuring that after 1600 charging cycles, the cell’s capacity should be over 80%.

OnePlus Ace offers us a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the central upper part there is a hole for a 16-nmegapixel selfie camera. On the back there is a fairly basic configuration, with a 50 Mpix main unit with OIS, an 8 Mpix ultra wide-angle lens and a 2 Mpix macro sensor.

The smartphone will be available in black and blue. Depending on the memory configuration, prices in China are as follows:

• 8/128 GB – 2499 yuan (convert to US dollar), ~ 1656 PLN.
• 8/256 GB – 2699 yuan (convert to US dollar), ~ 1789 PLN.
• 12/256 GB – 2999 yuan (convert to US dollar), ~ 1998 PLN.
• 12/512 GB – 3499 yuan (convert to US dollar), ~ 2319 PLN.
