There has been a lot of talk recently about the first Google smartwatch, which, according to speculation, should be presented in May during the I / O 2022 event. Today we can take a look at the actual Pixel Watch photos, because someone… forgot it in one of the American restaurants.

One Android Central reader shared a photo of the alleged Pixel Watch prototype that was found in a US restaurant. This is not an isolated case, although in recent years testers have been rather careful. More than a decade ago, someone lost an iPhone 4 prototype in a bar, while another tester left a Pixel 3 XL in the back of a rental car. Thanks to such situations, real photos of equipment that reveal a lot are sent to the network.

The Pixel Watch found looks almost identical to the renderings that have hit the web so far. The display is curved and the bottom of the case is made of metal. We also have two physical buttons next to the crown. This is a prototype, which is probably to check “how to wear it” because when you try to run it displays only the letter “G” on a black background. So it was not possible to check the thickness of the frames or the full range of the display. The report indicates that the device can be charged both wired and wirelessly.

The Pixel Watch came with blue straps, so we’re sure this color is sure to come. It is not known, however, whether Google will also provide other color variants, as indicated by the renders.

On the occasion of this leak, there were also rumors about another smartwatch called Pixel Watch Fit, which the company is allegedly also working on. For now, we only know about it that it should have very thick frames around the display, which will be a big opposite of the above model. Watch Fit will also have a body and aluminum. If Google is actually working on it and will want to introduce it to the market in May, we should learn more about it in the near future.
