On April 25, Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington broadcast a live broadcast of an exceptional stunt test in Arizona. The duo planned to fly their planes to an altitude of about 4,267 meters, and then jump out of the planes they piloted and enter their friend’s machines. Unfortunately, the attempt ended in failure.

This is not just any trial, but one that has been planned for over 10 years. After years of preparation, the pilots began their attempt to perform the “world’s first” aircraft swap around 5:45 pm local time, taking off from an undisclosed location in Arizona. An hour after the flight began, the pilot duo began diving in planes at an altitude of about 3.7 km with air brakes activated and jumped off their planes.

While Aikins managed to complete his switch, the blue plane that had left moments earlier began to spiral into a spiral, which is captured in the video. This left Co-pilot Andy unable to do the deed, but luckily a personal parachute saved him from trouble and caused no damage to his health.

The plane that crashed on the ground did not come out well. However, this is not the end of the story, because the Federal Aviation Administration was interested in the matter, which reportedly refused to allow the test to be carried out.
