Poles are increasingly choosing 8K TVs

The first Samsung 8K TV made its debut in our country about 3 years ago. Since then, these devices have become more and more popular, which is confirmed by the data from January-September 2021.

Since the introduction of Samsung’s first 8K device, 8K TVs have found their way into over 6,000 Polish homes, and their popularity is only growing. Anyway, not only in our country, because according to a study conducted by Strategy Analitycs, in 4 years already 72 million households around the world will be equipped with a TV with an 8K resolution screen.

8K TV sets are becoming more and more popular in Poland

This technology is constantly evolving, and the constant modernization and minimalist design make us choose models in this resolution more and more often. According to the latest Samsung data, for the period January-September in Poland, sales of the company’s TV sets with a size of 85 ”increased sevenfold. It can therefore be estimated that Poles will more and more often decide to buy large-screen televisions in 8K resolution. Additionally, compared to the same period last year, the overall sales of 8K TV sets in Poland increased by over 150%.

Samsung is constantly expanding its offer in this topic. This year, the Neo QLED line of premier TV sets has entered the market. It includes two 8K models – QN900A and QN800A, available in three sizes: 65 ”, 75” and 85 ”. Thanks to the Quantum Mini LED technology, the image is clearer and more detailed, regardless of whether we are watching dark or bright scenes. The AI ​​Neo Quantum 8K processor also plays an important role, which is responsible for the improved process of scaling to a resolution as close to 8K as possible. The operation of the processor is based on as many as 16 models of neural networks, each of which is specialized for narrow tasks related to image, sound and other TV functions.
