The AV1 codec allows for higher quality and greater image stability, using the same network bandwidth. Samsung has shared a list of its TVs in which AV1 is available.
AV1 is an open and royalty-free standard for encoding and receiving audio and video content increases compression efficiency, which basically means that the image quality will be more stable, regardless of the speed of your internet connection.
