Ah the RGB, this fashion is not ready to pass, as the various and varied products are getting started! NZXT is of course not missing the mark with their new AER RGB, 120 or 140mm fans. On the program of RGB as you can imagine that you will be able to control via their HUE + control box (tested here).
Who says RGB also says price which goes together, here we are talking about € 29.90 for the 120 version and € 34.90 for the 140, yes it hurts a lot men and to that it will be necessary to add in addition the control box (~ 60 € )! To reduce the bill a little, packs are also available with 2 fans & the HUE +, 84.90 € for the 120 and 94.50 € for the 140.

In terms of characteristics there are quite standard dimensions, a bit in my high average of this type of product and a 4-pin connection (in addition to what is needed to drive the LEDs). The bearing is an FDB model which combines the best life / silence compared to the other types, which should be a guarantee of silence. The rotation speed oscillates between 500 and 1500 RPM for an air flow ranging from 14.48 to 52.44 CFM for the 120 and from 30.39 to 91.19 CFM for the 140, the announced noise level goes from 22 to 33 dB, seeing these characteristics we logically say that AER RGB should be discreet the vast majority of the time.
As I said above the price is very steep, 30 € for the 120 and 35 € for the 140, you will have to really like the RGB men, but NZXT has nevertheless decided to increase the warranty time so that we find at Noctua, namely 6 years old so you are gone for a while!
