Intel announced its speech at CES 2022 on January 4, when we will probably know the details of probably more Alder Lake processors, as well as new chipsets. However, we already know today what the unofficial pricing of MSI’s B660 motherboards is, thanks to an unofficial Twitter post from you11eddog.

According to the information he disclosed, B660 from MSI are only available in DDR5 compatible versions. I emphasize that we are talking only about those models with unofficial prices we got to know and among which as many as eight concern microATX variants, and the other two are full-fledged ATX. So it seems very, very strange, but we will only know the truth on the day of the official premiere.

Going into details, the prices of these motherboards range from USD 119 to USD 259, i.e. from PLN 485 to PLN 1050, most of which were priced closer to PLN 1,000 than PLN 500. Only DDR5 support is surprising especially because the Z690 models are available in both variants, but maybe this is due to the fact that manufacturers will artificially “force” us to reach for the more expensive Z690, if we only use DDR support? These are only guesses though, so don’t take them too seriously.
