Radeon RX 7700 XT: Similar if not better performance than the Radeon RX 6900 XT?

According to what has been reported, the GPU that will cover the mid-range of the new series of graphics cards would have extremely interesting performances that could make it even better than future mid-range NVIDIA solutions.

The video lists all the specifications (or possible such) that the new GPU should propose, including a significant improvement in performance in ray tracing and an energy consumption between i 180 ei 230W. In essence, the new mid-range card should be able to offer rasterization performance similar to that of a Radeon RX 6900 XT, in the face of a amount of memory lower and decidedly more moderate consumption.

Another information contained in the video concerns the strategy with which AMD intends to market the next generation of GPUs. According to the sources of the youtuber, the company intends to raise the bar of performance and, probably, also the prices as a consequence of the fact that the PC gaming market is becoming more and more elitistthat is, focused on what are defined as “enthusiast” or “big spender”.

This strategy would also include APUs, destined to occupy the entry-level segment once populated by low-end dedicated video cards. It should not be forgotten that, according to rumors, Ryzen 7000 CPUs should have an integrated RDNA 2 GPU capable of offering convincing performance in Full HD.
