realme presents charging 150 W. Soon it will go to the first smartphone

During MWC 2022, not only OPPO had something to say about smartphone charging technology. Realme also presented its novelty and we immediately got an announcement that 150 W charging will soon appear in the first smartphone.

Realme introduces UltraDart charging with a power of 100-200W

Some time ago, realme announced the presentation of its latest fast charging technology. As promised, we had the opportunity to see the UltraDart system enabling charging with the power from 100 to 200 W. This technology is an extension of the already existing Dart, allowing for charging with the power of 18-65 W. UltraDart is supposed to work even faster, adding more functions to ensure safety and longevity of the battery.

It was announced immediately that the first smartphone that supports this technology will be presented this year. Of course, it will not be 200 W yet, but “only” 150 W, which will probably not disappoint anyone. It is a really dizzying speed that will allow you to charge your smartphone from zero to 50% in just 5 minutes. From the information that realme provided during the presentation, we know that thanks to the temperature management algorithm, the battery will not heat above 43 degrees while charging, even when we play on the phone or watch movies during this time. However, thanks to the Ultra Battery Protection system, the battery will last longer, because even after 1000 charging cycles, its capacity will drop by only 20%.

The first smartphone that will be able to boast of the UltraDart 150 W will be the realme GT Neo3. It is true that realme did not reveal too many details about it, but we expect its premiere in the near future.
