RX 6900 XT and 6800 XT Liquid Devil, PowerColor aims for excellence

PowerColor has accustomed us to video cards with a great technical profile such as the Red Devil, but recently has expanded its offer with the series Liquid Devil. As the name implies, these are products with a pre-installed water block, in this case of the Slovenian EK, for liquid cooling via a custom loop.

In these hours the Taiwanese company announced two Liquid Devils, one based on the RX 6900 XT and the other on RX 6800XT, or AMD’s flagship proposals – at least for the moment. With a nickel-plated copper base, a partially visible top, a backplate and a logo that recalls the devil, these two solutions ensure extreme silence and high performance.

Liquid flows over GPUs, VRMs, and other critical components, too the two boards are equipped with a custom PCB featuring a 14 + 2 phase VRM capable of supporting 400W and three 8-pin PCI Express connectors. Not missing a double BIOS, the first named OC for “solid performance with more balanced power consumption” and one named “Unleash“for even higher clock rates to shatter every record.

Along with the cards, PowerColor bundles some coolers of different colors to give a personal touch to the card. As for the frequencies, the company indicates 2110 MHz for the Game Clock and 2360 MHz for the Boost Clock of the RX 6800 XT, while the older sister operates at 2135/2365 MHz.

The dimensions of both models are 266 x 162 x 42 mm, and in the back there is an HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB-C port. The rear bracket is dual slot. The new PowerColor Liquid Devil will be available from next week at prices not yet known.
