Better late than never, and it is that although the Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was released in August 2017, now the game has received a major update 4 years later, which raises the graphical ceiling of the game.

Users thus benefit from the Next-Gen version of this game that first arrived on Xbox Series X | S consoles, and this translates to to integrate RayTracing, the use of technology Nvidia DLSS y AMD FSR to improve performance, along with other visual improvements.

“With just over four years after launch, we’re excited to introduce a huge new update to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Starting with the visuals, we’ve integrated the improvements we made in the recent version of Hellblade for Xbox Series X | S, including Updated materials, particles, level of detail and RayTracing.

This new version includes RayTracing presets (low, medium and high), with RayTraced reflections, plus RayTraced shadows exclusive to the high preset. We think this brings a new depth to Helheim that has never been seen before, so we’re excited that people are again walking in the footsteps of Senua in an even more immersive environment.

Hellblade on PC now also supports DirectX 11 and 12, and adds support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR rescaling technology for better performance.

We’ve also taken this opportunity to add some key accessibility features to make Hellblade accessible to more people. These include full controller and keyboard remapping, customization of subtitles, and color blind settings for Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia.

For returning players and those who have yet to experience Senua’s journey to Helheim, we are delighted to offer this free update, which makes it the most engaging and accessible version to date. “
