Steam Deck controller, i.e. new information about Valve’s hardware

Valve has released an extensive FAQ on its upcoming hardware, where it responds to over a dozen recurring messages the company receives. Thanks to this, we know that, for example, we will be able to make a controller from Steam Deck.

Valve’s new FAQ revealed that we’ll be able to make a controller from Steam Deck

We learned that Steam Deck will support multiple Steam accounts on a single copy, it will even launch games from outside the library via Proton and thus allow you to add them to it, supporting the ext4 format in the case of microSD cards. However, the pleasant playing of VR titles can be forgotten by the lack of optimization, and when it comes to performance in mobile mode and when docked, this one is identical.

In addition, we will be able to play it even without Internet access on the same terms as in the case of Steam for PC, we will connect 4-pole 3.5 mm jack plugs to it, enjoying the support of headphones and microphone, but increasing its performance with external cards we can forget about graphics.

The possibility of making the Steam Deck a controller mentioned in the title comes down to using the Remote Play function. In this mode, Valve’s hardware will vibrate you thanks to the built-in motors under the trackpads, but it is not known whether the display, which reads many signals at the same time, will play a role in this.
